John Walsh, PGA Assistant Professional / Tournament Director

John is from Vallejo & has been in the golf industry for over 10 years. He has been working at Eagle Vines Golf Club since 2007 & is currently a level 2 Apprentice in the PGA PGM program. His goal is to become a Class "A" member of the PGA. John is currently working as the tournament director here at Eagle Vines.

His approach to teaching the game of golf revolves around his ability to relate to each of his students learning style. He likes to create a comfortable & fun atmosphere which makes it easy for his students to relate to him. He believes that proper technique is the key fundamental of a repetitive golf swing. He truly enjoys working with junior golf & holds quite a few clinics each year. He is available for individual lessons, group lessons & clinics.

 

Valerie Maio, LPGA Assistant Professional

Valerie has been a Class "A" member of the LPGA since 1995. This year she achieved her "Life" status withthe LPGA. Valerie is a 1987 graduate of St. Mary's college. She played on the Mini Tour in California, Arizona & Nevada from 1988-1990. Valerie has been teaching individual and group lessons as well as women's & junior clinics for over 20 years. Her approach is to make the student feel comfortable which makes the learning process much more achievable. Her priority is to keep things simple and clear for the student.

Valerie enjoys spending her time off with her husband Ron & their 2 kids, Mackenzie & Connor.
